This morning, it was sure tempting to stay in bed an extra hour rather than get up, but once I stretched well (still in bed) and sat up, I felt significantly more awake. Much to hubby's dismay, I slept in exercise clothes last night, but that made it easier because I just had to put my hair up and put on shoes. Both of which, required little effort and could be done before fully awake. Since I had kicked off my walking shoes last night after our evening walk, I had to retrieve them from under the dining room table. That woke me up even more. By the time I got to the treadmill, I was wide awake and glad I was up.
I watched Hart of Dixie this morning and was surprised to see laundry was caught up. I dressed before waking the kids so had the younger 2 pick out their clothes and dress in my room. When they know I can see them, they tend to move more quickly. We were again out of the house on time but with very little yelling.
I now sit at work with just shy of 7,000 steps at it's only 8:30am! YEAH!! Yesterday, since I walked in the morning and after work, I had just over 19,000 steps for the day. I have many days where I barely hit 10,000 so I am very pleased.
