Major update!

Monday, January 13, 2014

I can't believe I have not written anything here for two months!

But I have been very busy actually LIVING my recovery program I've made for myself for becoming more fit and healthy!

I'm still doing my twice a week group training. I'm eating 100% primal/paleo with absolutely no cheats. This seems to work the best for me because my personality tends to be an "all or nothing" type. If I allow any sweets at all, I keep going until I have a gain in my body weight. Knowing that I am going to say "no" the entire month of January to any grains or sugars is helping me to shed weight and inches.

Since January 1st, I am down 6 pounds.

My current weight is 175!

New low weight!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have lost inches but not sure how much, I will measure that at the end of the month.

I've made cauliflower crust pizza, eat spaghetti squash, had mostly eggs/bacon/avacado for breakfasts. Salads and sweet potatoes for lunch most days or soup. Then a nice, homemade supper.

I'm doing great. How bout you guys?

Way to go on your dedication!! I tend to be an all or nothing person as well. Being very focused works super well for me as well. Keep it up!

Congrats on the weight loss and the new low!! emoticon

So many people see to be primal/paleo these days (not me, not yet, lol). I think, how could I give up grains, and yet I looked at what you eat and think "YUM". :) I'd probably start at something (vs. all or nothing) if I decide to go that route. ..

I had a hard time being out of routine during the holidays with time off work and all the social events, but I'm getting back to he swing of things - tracking my eating and bringing work lunches and snacks from home.
