I disappeared for the weekend, and probably will every weekend since they tend to be full of activities...
I tried to eat decently, but was preparing myself to have not lost any weight this weekend. When I stepped on the scale, I was pleasantly surprised to see another pound gone!
I know that it's a lot easier for me right now to lose weight and lose it quickly, since I have so much weight to lose. I also know that my one pound of loss over the weekend didn't require a ton of effort, and if I would have put in more effort, I would have seen more results...

I am still excited to see this pound gone! Every pound gone calls for rejoicing. And this point of this journey isn't for me to lose all my weight quickly - it's for me to learn how to have good, healthy eating habits, and to become more active and fit. This is a PROCESS. Not a diet I can do for a while to lose some weight, and then go back to eating whatever I want.

So, with that said. I'm happy with the little victories! Little by little, piece by piece... this weight will come off!

Hey, one pound, is one pound and as long as you're going down then that is PROGRESS!!! It's progress, not perfection but you sound like you're making great strides.

weight tends to try to find its way back but if you learn healthy habits you can build up a smoke screen against it.

As long as you are going in the right direction, you are doing amazing! Even if you stall and stay the same, it means no extra weight to lose later! Great work! :)
