I am simply awful...

Sunday, January 12, 2014

I am completely awful at tracking my fitness minutes and food. I know what I eat in a day. I will sometimes track breakfast, lunch, then snack. But by dinner I will eat, read, take a shower, and go to bed. I wont get back on SP and fill it all in. Like wise with the exercise. I will do my thing all day at work and with the kiddos, then come home and do chores and go to bed. I feel like maybe if I were to get a smart phone then it would be a bit easier than going and getting on the computer, especially since I feel like I'm having too much screen time as it is and therefore am not sleeping as well as I could be. I'm not sure if there is really a "good" solution for this. As long as I know what I'm eating and am doing, but on the other side of it, it's nice to look on here and see "oh, look at that, I've done this and this and this. Nice job Haley!"

Whenever I stop tracking my nutrition I gain weight. I know it's difficult when you are working, have children, etc. but it really does make a difference for me. Sometimes we think we know what we've eaten but we forget the little snippets here and there. I also underestimate my portions and calories when I don't track. I guess we are all different so we have to do what works for us. Good luck!
