Be sure your ST is on tight

Close to the last mile of my walk yesterday wasn't recorded on my ST. If came off my shoes and I thought I had just kicked a pebble or something else. After I got home I knew exactly where it happened, near the cemetery that I walk near and through it to add some miles. I drove back to the approximate spot and could see it on the sidewalk when I parked. I was so happy to not have to buy another one. I was also afraid some child walking along with their parents would pick it up. Kids like things that sparkle and if they touched it the number of times (5) required I was afraid they would pocket it.

Then last evening while cutting vegetables for dinner I sliced the top part of my middle finger right hand. Had Frank help me complete dinner prep because the darn thing wouldn't stop bleeding thanks to Warfarin. We finally had to put this big wrap on and I had it on all night. Took it off this morning and still some bleeding. I was able to put butterfly tape on to hold the cut together (which we couldn't do last evening) and put a fingertip band aide on it.
Now it is really fun to try and type with all my other things going on. lol Gotta love life, just keeps kicking my butt and I keep getting back up and kicking back. Will get the Holter monitor off today at 1:30pm and then I have to stop and do a tiny bit of grocery shopping on way home. Off to do a shorter walk this morning. Have a great day everyone!

Wow! You were lucky to have found your tracker the way you did! If it were me, I would have lost it for sure! Sorry you cut your finger, but that is definitely an easy thing to do. Not good for you though, since you are on the Coumadin. Hope that all goes well with the Holter Monitor test and that there is nothing wrong with your heart! emoticon

Good thing you knew where you lost your tracker! I'd say better a child picking it up than a dog! But, either way it would be gone, right? Look forward to hearing that your monitoring resulted in perfect heart conditions! Good thing we can always kick back at those things that try so hard to kick us down!

So glad you were able to back track and find your gadget. Its precisely that reason I don't use things like that is because I lose them :-( 5 in total and then gave up -too expensive. I also walk on woodsy trails and its usually impossible to find anything in them.. The clip ons are the worst!
So sorry about your finger, that must have really hurt :-(( I watched a Chef Meg video on proper cutting technique. It was very awkward to get used to, but I could see how you would never lose finger practising using it.
    Hope you heal fast!

I lost my fitbit and looked for hours for it. Thought I lost it in the yard when I mowed. Turns out I "buried" it under a bush I planted when it fell off. Dug it up, washed it off, and even though the shovel scraped it up a bit, it still worked!

Your day really sounds like my day yesterday and I can even add I was locked out of the house when DH went to a BB game!! And the dogs we locked in with no water because he forgot to bring it back from mom's. etc...etc... It must have been something in the air!!! LOL
Take care and glad you found your SPAT!!
