Sorry I've been "missing in action" for a couple of days. Things have been hectic, and with my commitment to myself to get some exercise everyday, I've been too tired to blog. It's getting better - I'm making appointments with myself, and sticking to them. So far - So good!
Sometimes I just amaze myself. It occurred to me that I'd save a bunch of time if I used my crockpot a little more, so I put a chicken and carrots in it this morning. I put on some rice to steam, exercised, and Voila! Dinner!
All in all, it's been a pretty good day, too. Stayed under my calorie limit, and didn't choke anyone at work! Woohoo!
I'm waiting to give a major report on my garden. Funny, the temperature got down to freezing, but we didn't get any frost at all. I'm told that damage will show up within a week, so I should know more by Sunday. From what I can see out there (it was in the 70's today!), everything looks fine. The soft rain this afternoon and tonight will help, too.
Right now, I'm blogging on my bed with my pups all around. Actually, I'm on about 1/4 of the bed, and they are on my left side, sprawled across the rest of it. Guess I'd better get some stuff done before bed!
