Challenges, successes, and feelings

Yesterday was one challenge after another. I started the emoticon morning with a emoticon hike (the first this year!). I even did it before breakfast! I love emoticon hiking. Its the best. And, I was a bully. I hopped in the shower first, before my brother, because I'm required to now by my doctor, to get the sweat off right away, it irritates the eczema.

I've been having Asian style veggies for breakfast. That has been working for me. Its filling, completely adjustable on the calories and I get my veggies before I've filled up on anything else. I also had 1 c. of So Delicious Chocolate Coconut milk. It is delicious and low in carbs, only 12 g. per serving.

Then I was unexpectedly required to help my brother by driving emoticon him to emoticon Medi-cal. I helped him go through the process at their office. The office in Placerville is really good and the staff is helpful. They are really nice. But, that did take all emoticon morning.

Here is the challenge: Lunch at a restaurant. Instead of going to McDonald's (which is bad for my ear cellulitis.) I opt for a nice, inexpensive, sit down mexican restaurant. I order the fish emoticon tacos (grilled not fried), no cheese, and I get the vegetarian beans. They are delicious and low fat. I know for a low carb style eater this is not the best but its South Beach friendly. I consider this meal a success.

Dinner was another challenge. I had to go to a business presentation at a restaurant. I had hot emoticon tea to drink. I had cream of broccoli soup and a side salad with the house dressing. Big mistake. Something made my ears go off. They turned red and painful before I had left the restaurant. I consider this meal to be a learning experience. I learned that I can't eat something I had, either the dressing or the soup. In either event, I'm not having either again. No way.

Now, it is Thursday, and I'm too tired to get up early and exercise. But, I did start the morning with Asian veggies and I have my yoga mat out, but Petra Kolber's Dance off Belly Fat is calling my name. I may do that one mid day. My plan is to have a cup of coconut emoticon milk at noon and to do the workout before dinner.

In other news: the kitty emoticon is eating 1/2 a can of cat food, I am still forcing a little water down her emoticon throat (not too much, don't want her to vomit.). She is no longer running a emoticon fever.

My eczema is ok right now. I don't have any bad spots. I'm still taking olive leaf extract everyday and I'm using Psorezma cream to prevent the eczema from coming back where I had had the rash before. I use Cetaphil on most of my body.

My IBS is ok. Basically, my gut is behaving itself. If I don't have cheese or rice, I'm ok. If I don't have dark emoticon chocolate, I'm ok.

The plan for tomorrow:
Hike emoticon & Stretch Max in the AM before breakfast
Breakfast: Home roast organic Chicken & green beans
Lunch: Chicken emoticon sausage & pasta
Dinner: Coconut emoticon milk

I have not tried that coconut milk yet but am interested in it. I usually use the unsweetened almond breeze but it is hard to find in my area.
