It's really cold here today, -3 with a wind chill of -27. No walk for me so I'll hop on the elliptical when I get home from my massage and Chiropractic appointments. Today dgd will be here at 4pm but will only stay for a little while since ds started his new job yesterday. No more working until 6pm for him, so this week will be a week of adjustment, a week of timing changes for the time that dgd and I spend together.
I am the only one who can do this for myself.
I make the choice of what I put in my mouth.
I make the choice to exercise daily.
I make the choice to have a positive frame of mind.
I make the choice to be healthy!
And write out my goals for the day-
Goals for today:
~ read my mantra
~ 80 oz water
~ 15,000 steps (20,783 yesterday)
~ 25 flights of stairs (83 flights yesterday)
~ keep an open mind
~ journal every bite
~ weigh and measure food today
~ journal thoughts and feelings surrounding eating today
~ smile at least once an hour
~ learn something new and remember what I learned
~ eat a fruit or vegetable with every meal and as one snack today
~ laugh out loud today
~ focus on this lifestyle I have chosen for myself and don't sweat the small stuff
I am on a mission to find smaller bowls today for snacks, along with glass bowls instead of plastic for sending to work with dh. I want to clean the cupboard of plastic stuff. I'm tired of all of the covers falling out every time I open the door!
Time to get moving.....
