01-01: I worked out, ate in range, and hung out at home. Our washer broke and got water all over the floor in the laundry room and in the basement below. Luckily, it is above the unfinished portion of the basement.

01-02: I went to all-you-can-eat sushi place for dinner with my in-laws. My brother-in-law is in town between semesters at UPenn and his girlfriend came to visit. This was the family’s first time meeting her so that was exciting. I came home exhausted and went to bed at 9:00. My husband got baby duty since he was staying up.

01-03: Lorelei decided to wake up at 2:30 this morning and I was up with her for 45 minutes feeding her and getting her back to sleep. We decided to get Sonic for lunch at work. I had a Jr. deluxe cheeseburger and a small tot. I saved 390 calories ordering the Jr. instead of the Sonic cheeseburger and 120 calories ordering a small tot instead of a medium. I am trying to incorporate small changes like that to save calories when I choose to eat out.

01-04: I took down the Christmas tree and some of the Christmas decorations. I left my snowmen out. I consider them to be more of a winter decoration than Christmas and it is definitely still winter! My father-in-law came over and looked at the washer with my husband. It looks like the drain pipe is either clogged or frozen. We are going to try and snake it. Hopefully that does the trick. Played WIO on the Wii for over an hour. I ate too much candy. I need to get all this candy out of my house!

We are going to my husband's grandparents' house tomorrow on the other side of the state (3 hour drive) to celebrate his grandmother's birthday and his sister's completion of her masters degree. I am going to try and get a workout in before we leave because I am sure we won't get home until late.
