Week One: Four Pounds Gone!

emoticon Today was weigh in day. I wasn’t sure what I was going to lose. My goal was 2 pound but I lost 4 pounds for this week. :) Oh, Happy Day! emoticon emoticon

emoticon I went to Deep Water Aerobics class. This was done by a different instructor, which is so nice. I really enjoy going to the classes, each of the deep water classes are taught by different instructors. They do it all quite differently which makes it very nice. Saturday classes are more upper body, Tuesday classes are more relaxed but a lot of work out with noodles and weights, and Thursday classes are more lower body and go go go style.

I have done a good job in this week. I feel that I could have done more since it was a semi vacation but I felt I’ve done well. I have burned the amount of calories I have wanted to, I made mainly good choice for food intake. I did have a few cookies but they were in moderation, also one night I picked up a hot fudge sundae from McDonalds but stayed within calorie range. I'm very proud of myself for get out and exercising while my back hurt and while sick. My water intake has been good and I have been reaching my water intake goals.

This next week I will keep the water intake going but try to have it earlier in the day. I will also bring healthy snacks to the school. I'm thinking for tomorrow hummus, bell peppers, and a yogurt.


Plans for tomorrow:
Rest Day.


Five things I'm grateful for:
1. Theracanes. They are the best investment for me.
2. Therabands. I didn’t realize all the exercise you can do with them in the water.
3. Resilance. It’s amazing how our bodies and minds can bounce back from traumatic things.
4. Friendships. I saw a good friend today. It was great to catch up.
5. Audiobooks. They are a great way to get a story in.
