This New Years Resolution is to eat healthier and exercise more. This time I am not going to follow any restrictive diet because I know that for me it does not work. Actually, that isn't quite true. It works for a while. I lose weight and then I feel comfortable eating the forbidden foods and gain the weight back. I am just going to eat sensibly and exercise more. Limit my sweets (this has been a problem lately) and add more fruits and veggies. That's it. I'm not making any claims to lose 20,30,40 pounds. I'm not saying that I'm going to run an hour a day, take up spinning classes or run a marathon. I'm just going to have a "healthier" year. Hope my friends join me emoticon

I am right behind you, right next to you. I totally agree. I have to stay clear of the goodies. I have found if I start in on them I can't resist. I get that sugar high and want more. I am a food junkie, I admit it. So far, so good. My kids are going back to the gym, I just don't want to. I would rather work out at home when I want to. I don't want to be obligated to any specific time for a class. Hopefully, tomorrow everything will be back to normal. We haven't had a full day of school since December.
