2014 Goal & Time of Reckoning

Re the Reckoning re Weight Gain
I started to gain my weight back when I stopped tracking food and doing daily scale check. My eating habits have gotten even more out of control since I retired in August. Based on clothes not fitting -- buying bigger sizes -- and then them not fitting, I knew I had gained weight but was in avoidance. Weighing myself has been a big wake up call. I will adjust the info on SparkPeople today to reflect the bad news.

Weight loss goals.
I've gotten close to 170. This is the most I have ever weighed in my life. My first goal will be to bring that weight down to 140 by May 1st. Around that time, I'll be doing to do a more rigorous 2 day hike in a state that has more elevation gain than Florida. I need to be physically prepared.
After that goal is reached, will set new goal of 130 to be reached by end of year.
A calorie strategy that has worked for me is to take goal weight x 18. From that number, I subtract 100 for odds & ends. The final number is my goal calorie per day. By eating that amount, I retrain my eating habits for the weight. It is a little slower than other methods but re jiggling fat - slower is better.

2013 GOALS
I am readjusting the priority of my 2013 goals. That being said, To Accept & Love myself is a life long goal.
1) Get physically fit
2) Loose weight
3) Cut down on Clutter
4) Accept myself
5) Enjoy life
6) Be more creative
