Wednesday, January 01, 2014

I can’t believe it’s another year. Let alone since June 2012 that I last blogged on SP. A lot has happened and I’m here. I have graduated from college and am taking a break this year from it before starting another educational program.

I’m excited for this New Year. I have made my goals and am gearing my mind for some changes.

Right now my work schedule is quite busy but I have continued to exercise, mainly at the local pool with Aqua Zumba and Deep Water Aerobics. I am starting physical therapy and I requested for it to be at the pool. This way I may learn different exercises to use while at the pool. I am quite happy with the doctor for agreeing with my choices in ways to strengthen my back.

Tomorrow is my first PT appointment at the pool. I’m excited about it.

It’s the beginning of the month so here are my January short term goals.

1. I will lose 8 pounds from January 1st to 31st, 2014.
2. Exercise 60 minutes, 5 days a week.
3. Strength Training 30 minutes, 3 days a week.
4. Drink 9 cups of water daily.
5. Track my progress.

Plans for tomorrow:
Combo Deep/Shallow water aerobics class,
Deep water aerobics class,
And physical therapy in the pool.

Five things I'm grateful for:

1. Friends.
2. New beginnings.
3. Kindle, with my books.
4. SP.
5. Vacation.

I love this post it is so interesting and uplifting. I'm glad your Dr. allowed the pool for exercises for correcting your back etc. What an awesome routine you have going on here and your goals are all w/in reach so that is cool as well. I am grateful for the same things, almost to a T, the only things I'd add would be my daughter and my 'fur babies' (hamsters and rats !!! lol) Have a great day tomorrow , the 2nd day of the year, and great job at setting goals/knowing yourself :D :D emoticon
