What a great idea and especially today in honor of today’s exciting football match up of the Chicago Bears vs the Green Bay Packer’s later today at 4:20 pm Chicago time - at home of course - GO BEARS GO - BLUE AND ORANGE ALL THE WAY!!! emoticon emoticon

This morning the roads in our area were horrible with ICE everywhere! When I took the dog out I could not even walk the driveway, nor could she. Since I haven’t done much in the activity area for the past two day but totally went way over my calorie intake yesterday I wondered how was I going to get in any SPARKS today with the roads in this condition!!

Oh there is a recreation center under two miles from me but I hate walking the track circle - so “BORING…” I think one time around is about 1/8th of mile - good grief what a waste - emoticon Literally walking in circles emoticon

But even with the horribly icy roads I still wanted to go to church and so since I was going to be out anyways I decided to stop at the grocery store for a few things. Then I got the brainy idea emoticon hey the floors here are dry and the store is rather LARGE. Yep, although I had on my unzipped, sloppy clunky winter boots I pulled out my phone and checked the time - 1:20 pm. OK I’d walk up and down each aisle for 30 minutes which would be better than no activity at all.

Well as I mentioned, this grocery store is like a warehouse type and is HUGE!! Next time I glanced at my phone it was past 2 pm and I was just then nearing the last of the aisles to walk. But even funnier is when I got home my SPARK ACTIVITY TRACKER clocked 43 minutes of a RUN-WALK workout. emoticon And to think the store was bit crowded. I would even get a bit annoyed when there were people or carts in my way, slowing me down. emoticon

Although I didn’t notice anyone looking at me strangely though but I was clipping along faster than I thought and probably couldn't or didn't notice their faces anyways emoticon So glad I got some activity in…if it warms up, which it’s not forecasted to do so, I plan to attempt to get in my 10,000+ steps before day’s end, since I’m currently at about 6600, almost 4 miles today. If anything I’m sure I could RUN to the store again for something emoticon Who know's with the game on the line today I may get more activity than I think just from jumping up and down emoticon
