It's the 29th today, so there is nothing left of this year to do anything about. It is history.
With one day left of 2013.....that one day will be the day I plan the first quarter of 2014.
This past week has been crazy, but a nice kind of crazy with my nephew visiting. He's a lively chap with a quick sense of humor. We went to our mall for coffee and breakfast,
We ordered a delightful muesli, yogurt and fruit breakfast. This is what it looked like on the menu.
This is how it looked when it arrived.
My nephew was most fed up with the shortage of berries. I was too, but I just ate mine.
While eating breakfast, this delightful American Indian started playing music for money and selling CD's. While playing the pan flute, it was sweet with a haunting sounds.
His jacket had a big wolf on it back. The fringe pieces that hung off the sleeves moved each time he did, as did the colorful attachments to his guitar.....so gorgeous.
When he brought out his spear, the sounds got wild and made my hair stand on edge as his wild calling (which sounded like hey ya hey ya) reverberated and echo'd in the halls of our mall. He was mic'd up so it really pierced something very wild inside me. I could almost picture someone galloping a wild pony across a desert area. There were 2 men so they kind of harmonized the wild calling. Very big, very powerful sound.
He ended up with a full head dress on....really stunning.
Today my new bible arrived so I am a- for away with using it in the new year.
These are the latest photo's of Axel taken with his daddy during a visit a couple of weeks ago. He is getting so tall and leggy. At this point he is just 3 years old.
I really miss this little boy, cant wait to see him one day again.
Axel being taught to make his first sandwich.
Outgrowing his bicycle and will be needing a bigger one soon.
This is my last blog for the year. I cant wait to see what next year brings.
I do know that it will bring more weight loss, that I am planning.
This is the first year in 35 yrs that I have gotten my weight down this far, and kept it off despite problems that reared their ugly heads. Usually I ran back to emotional eating, but not this year. I do feel as if I am over the emotional eating. I had one set back since March where I gained 3.4kgs but usually I regain everything plus some. This year from March to now I have lost 21.6kgs. My year officially ends in March 2014 from when I began.
Just like X=Tina I will be able to say....Celeste lost 23kgs in one year.
