Week 4: What Goes Down, Must Go Up

Well, as everyone who struggles with an eating disorder knows, there is rarely a straight line downward when trying to get healthier. Instead, I've been on vacation... and I've been acting like it. Out to dinner, out to the casino, sleeping until 8am... it's really messed with my schedule enough where I am random and unpredictable. But, I've been on vacation. And it's ok. It's been a year since I haven't been working or in school for a period of time, so I am working on enjoying the laziness. (As much as this girl can be lazy).
So, I gained two pounds this week but what can I do? Nothing now. Work on next week.
I was watching a tv segment about resolutions and how they are pointless and doomed for failure. Commitments, on the other hand, dig deep into the person and usually stick. So this year, I'm not making a resolution, I'm making a commitment. I have it ready to go... but you'll have to wait until January 1 to read all about it :)
