The new year is coming and it is time to make your resolutions or not. Here are some of mine .

I am cancelling my membership to the gym. I don't go often anymore . I am enjoying walking and my exercise tapes. This will save me $ 40 dollars a month

I am only using cash this year. There are some things you need a credit card for but I will write myself a check to pay it the same day I use it. I will think very hard before I spend.

I resolve to eat healthy . To exercise for 30 minutes every day sometimes more. To drink mostly water. To get eight hours of sleep.

I resolve to clean out a cabinet or area once a day and get this house organized.

I resolve to be polite as I kind as often as I can and to volunteer some time this year .
I resolve to use my writing skills to help and benefit others.
I resolve to spend some time in meditation , reading ,and solitude every day.
I resolve to find the good in all I see.
I resolve to try to keep stress to a minimum.
I resolve to have fun at home and at work.
I resolve to make friendships a priority .
If I do all of the above I should be cashing in on some successes . I will make 2014 the best year yet. How about you what are your plans for 2014? I would love to hear about them,

    Wonderful list!! Here is some of mine:

    to move more every day

    to eat healthy foods, less processed.

    to not be so crabby!! LOL!!

    to drink less alcohol

    to blog here on SP every day, whether it's good or bad

    That is a great list Joanna. I will try not to make the
    mistakes I ade last year and be wiser with spending.
    I hope to retire so I will need to budget more.

    What a wonderful (and huge) list :-)
    Mine would be :
    to lose weight and get fit & healthy,
    practice being more patient,
    and possibly mending a broken relationship with a family member -
    now, that's definitely going to be the most difficult one :(

    Great goals. good for you.
    Since I finally(after 4 years of flare ups) have my autoimmune disorders under control. I will continue to be diligent in not eating gluten, sugar, dairy, nitrates, and nightshade veggies. I will also continue to get my 4 mile walk in each day.
    So here's to good health for 2014

    My list appears similar to yours - I do not attend a health club either anymore as I find that making life simply has really made a difference on the bottom line - the scale. Except for swimming that I need to out source but I find that the City Colleges have Olympic size pools and wonderful instructors , great hours of operation and a one time fee that's in-expensive for the entire year - less stress , clearing my mind of garbage to set myself free , water , water , water , hydrating properly and yes , more time with Spark friends as I am finding out that its a key to healing and learning not only more about that individual but myself as well - I am always trying to reorganize and DH then reorganizes his way - need to come to a compromise ! lol Hugs k
