Back into it

Thursday, December 26, 2013

Back on track now that the holiday is over. And back to the
battle on the website for healthcare. We have had a good
string of successes even if the hours are long and the
site still has glitches. The pressure is off somewhat but
people are still looking.
We had a wonderful dinner with most of the family
yesterday-prime rib, mashed potatoes, coleslaw and
fresh cranberry sauce. Everyone was pleased with
the gifts they received and we just spent the day
I am slowly catching up on the 400+ emails that
accumulated when I wasn't able to do much on
the computer. Hopefully I will get through the rest
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Friday.

It seems that once I get a huge amount of emails, it is hard to get them down.

I hope you have better luck than me, getting them down.

Oh boy . . . with 400+ e-mails, I think I'd be tempted to do a pretty massive delete! I think everyone would understand!

HUGS and glad you had a great Christmas.

Wow, now that's a menu!! Yummy!!
Yup, you'll have plenty of catch-up, but you'll get 'er done! hehe Speeding toward a new year, too!! Think we'll just spend a quiet nite at home. DH is rarely able to stay awake that long, so we'll just see!!
Don't know what will happen for us with the healthcare stuff. DH hasn't done anything and I'm afraid, since he is the sole $ maker in the home, it has to be up to him, so......... Time will tell, I suppose!
Have a great day, my friend!!! (((HUGS)))

Seriously, glad you had a great Holiday... and good luck with the next phase of sign-ups / deadlines for healthcare. They keep changing the rules... only thing constant is change, huh?

Good thing we're nimble Sparklers! emoticon

    That's way too many emails.

Do you have a secretary my friend?

    Oooh, prime rib!! emoticon

I know the pain of catching up on emails. While I was trying to catch up, I deleted many of them without reading them ("sorry, no time!") and wondered if it wasn't time to get myself off some mailing lists again. I do that periodically in my daily war on clutter. And the inbox looks so nice (until I start signing up for things again!) emoticon

Have a great Friday, lovin' those short work-weeks!!

I'm glad that things are settling down for you, and the pressure is dissipating. You had a wonderful dinner, yesterday. I had grilled turkey with rubs, Boston butt, squash casserole, black bean and corn salad, Greek salad, a mini spinach, bacon, and cheese quiche. Then the dessert was homemade blueberry cobbler. The crust was made from nuts, it had sweetened cream cheese and then the blueberries on to of every thing!

I know how it is to catch up on emails. The 6 months that I spent in the hospital, I had over 250,000 emails to catch up on! What a mess, and it wouldn't let me do anything but delete them, as there were so many! I'm sure you'll have yours under control in no time at all!

    Be blessed,

    - Nancy Jean -
