Feeling better

Tuesday, December 24, 2013

Twenty years ago, I lost my good friend Tim. We were partners in running, dancing, working out, shopping and eating healthy.

He got sick suddenly and the disease progressed quickly. To lose him on Christmas eve was so very sad.

Today was chores, errands and some visiting. The visits were wonderful and there was even Dr. Who.

Merry Christmas and Keep a happy heart! emoticon

I'm so sorry about your loss of such a great friend, Terri - even after many years have passed, there are those among us who have made such an impact in life that their loss is to this day palpable.....

I wish you and yours a wonderful Christmas!

We had our Christmas Eve service cancelled but I could have climbed over the snow at the end of the driveway and walked across the street (literally) to their church service but I was too lazy..

That would be so sad to lose your good friend on Dec. 24.

I had an email from a teacher I worked with up north and she is in the Winnipeg with her dh in the hospital and not doing well at all. She is probably staying alone in a hotel too...

So, what do I have to complain about, there are certainly a lot of people with really sad things going on in their lives....

Do you do a big turkey or get together with other friends? Hope we can get out of the yard tomorrow, we didn't bother to shovel as there was another 5 cm predicted and I heard a rumor of another storm on Friday too...

but trying to be cheerful, Merry Christmas.... emoticon
