emoticon * Happy Holidays * emoticon

It’s been a mostly quiet year for us & the girls. emoticon emoticon emoticon
Foxy, Trixie, and Bebe are eight, soon to be nine. If someone is resting or in the kitchen, you‘ll find Foxie. Trixie warns us of stranger danger - the flyer delivery people, the bicyclist running her dog, and our neighbor’s cat which comes over to taunt her. Bebe, whose tongue hangs out the toothless side of her mouth, will steal your lap’s warmth and everyone’s heart.

Geri started the year off with her annual January hospital stay, trying to catch her breath. In her race with the turtle, the turtle won, leaving Geri on oxygen 24/7. As her truck left (sold), the portable oxygen compressor (for which we are grateful) entered our lives, letting us attend events like our WNBA Mercury games.

The good news was our family reunion at the Island in Wisconsin, made possible by my sister, Liz. Geri went gaga over our niece’s newest baby, Juno, walking and catching play pool guppies. Reading, playing cards, or backgammon allowed us to escape the bats and record number of mosquitoes. Being with family was worth every bite!

With two marriages late this year and two more soon to pass, our family and friends, we have much to celebrate!

We wish you much to inspire gratitude
and a blessed, healthy 2014
