This is Baha, DS's Sugar Glider. Sunday morning, she was
barking in her cage, not the first time so I didn't think too
much about it. When I went up to wake DS for church, the
cage door was open and she was gone. Several times
during the day, we checked out the other rooms and the
hallway and couldn't see her. When DS left for college,
we both thought I wouldn't find her until it was too late.
Last night I went through all the rooms with a flashlight
and still nothing.
But, finally, as I went downstairs for the last time to
check my newly hatched chicks, there she was on
the cold basement floor. Evidently she had been
hiding and I didn't catch her in the flashlight beam. So
I scooped her up, carried her upstairs to show DH
and then promptly put her back in her cage with
fresh water, feed and fruit. So, tonight I snapped
a picture so you can see the newest "Survivor".
Two days in a strange environment must have been
hard for her but now she is where she belongs.
I did call DS and told him that his little pet was
safe and sound. He was pleasantly surprised.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful
