Patience

"Is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on annoyance/anger in a negative way; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can take before negativity."

And boy did I need a boatload of patience today! When you work with someone, who's suppose to be a lead, and they just tend to blow you off...you need patience to deal with it. I'm not stupid...I do know how to my job..but when doing something NEW, I do need instructions...guidance...help to get the job done right. Not a vague "oh yeah..just do this" once in a while. So now..something I was suppose to do three months ago, but didn't know I was suppose to do, had to be done in a rush today. And even then...my lead wasn't the one to help me. Thank goodness for smart co-workers! I did say something to one of the mangers about it. so we'll see what happens. But I was all most in tears I was so angry about it. But after a couple of deeps breaths and getting help to get the job done (and next time I now know what to do!) I'm must calmer.

Eating over the weekend was hit and miss. Both Chuck and I felt a bit off this weekend. So we tended to eat light...but maybe a bit salty. Today eating, so far, has been good. No workout though. It's a short week and I'm dealing with setting up for the dept potluck tomorrow. I'm going to try and get a treadmill workout in tonight.

We had the old truck detailed Sat and my car washed. The guy came to the house to do it. My car was on;y $30 to do..the truck was $100. But he all but took a toothbrush to the truck! It's looking good! I think we're going to have the guy come once a month to wash my car and the new truck.

I picked up a little something for hubby for under the "tree" (we didn't put up a tree..but we did hang some Christmas tree smelling sticks up ). I'll have a gift from him under the tree. Something small..but he kept asking me what I wanted and I just didn't know. I finally told him I'd like the Nike Xbox workout. So guess what I'm getting?

He has surgery on Thursday morning (his knee), so I'm off work the 19th - the 25th. I'll be back to work on the 26th. I may be the only one here though!
