I didn't write a blog last week; I didn't have anything to say. Even now, I still don't feel like I have anything particularly noteworthy to share but I wanted to write something today to keep the habit active. Putting off the writing for just a little while longer this morning, I logged into FaceBook and this was waiting for me:
Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing.

Yesterday was a DRY day. My skin is dry, my face and lips are dry, my hair is dry. My hair is so static-y that I had to stop what I was doing and put some coconut oil on my hair (and my hands and my lips; there, that's better!) Until I finally took action, I could not focus on anything.
This morning as I'm writing, I have a headache. I don't get headaches very often and I endure them assuming they'll go away on their own (which they frequently do.) When I couldn't take it any more, I stopped writing and went in the kitchen to make breakfast, a Green Smoothie. I know a lot of people don't share my love for Green Smoothies but for me, it's such a great start to my day and my body always thanks me for it. Amazingly enough, my headache is gone and I'm back writing again, annoyance free.
I have projects today I've been putting off. I decided this morning to change what it was I had planned on doing and address these annoyances instead; it will be nice to have them done (and they probably won't take nearly the amount of time my imagination has already assigned to them.)
When you can't stand something any more, you take action. We're all here on SparkPeople because we had to take action on something we couldn't stand anymore. Every day is a new opportunity to continue our healthy lives and today is an especially good one!!
