Best News Ever

Our family just received the best holiday gift imaginable. We are very close to my DH's family, especially his sister and her children. Our DD considers her cousins more like brothers. My SIL's youngest son has a lovely wife and two wonderful young children. His wife's father is very ill and needs a liver/kidney transplant to live. We just heard that not only are the organs available (please send light and love to the family who donated from their loss), but that both liver ad kidneys are a perfect match. (Evidently kidneys are harder to match than livers.) The surgery is going on as I write. Usually the surgeons wait about 8 hours between the liver and kidney transplants, but he is doing so well that they have gone ahead with the kidneys. He will be in the hospital for sever - ten days and home in time for Christmas. It is especially wonderful because at Thanksgiving, his daught was thankful that her children had 4 grandparents. And now that wonderful relationship will contine. To top it all off, they heard the news while they were at their son's (grandson to organ recipient) Christmas pageant at pre-school.
Isn't life full of wonderous events and blessings?
