Feeling in the dumps today. So much on my plate with the holidays coming up that I feel like doing none of it. How do I get back into the Christmas spirit. My fitness has gone to the wayside because of strep. Ok, I can't exercise like I want, but my eating healthy isn't going to bad considering the season. So what I have to do is figure out exactly what I need to do, figure out how I'm going to do it, then just do it and let it go.

    Also stop to enjoy the little things. My kids are full of crazy naturally and now the "wants" have kicked in. Husband does the shopping and all the working. Listening to him sucks. But every once in a while I catch a moment that makes my heart melt. Just the other day my baby of two years laid next to me in bed, put his hand on my cheek and kissed my forehead. The started laughing tehehehe. Where did it come from? Who knows. But the little things in life last longer. This Christmas season will be done shortly.

    Please don't be to hard on yourself. This is a time of year that a lot of people get over extended and end up not enjoying the season. Sit down, take a deep breath, think of all the blessings you have and decide on 2 small things you can do for your health today - might be a short 10 minute walk or to get your water in. Then go to your to do list and get at least one item taken care off.
