What agitates me

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

Because I work retail I see a lot. I also see parents dressing their children in sleeveless shirts with no jackets in 30 degree weather. I saw a parent with a baby with a light jacket on and socks, that baby needed shoes on, what is your problem and he needed a coat. It's bad enough I see adults wearing shorts and no jackets, but children need to be dressed warm. My son changed his clothes Sunday night before we went to church, I didn't realize this till we were getting out of the car. He had put on coveralls and I told him to take them off, what did he have on, shorts. He complained of being cold, well your 13 I shouldn't have to dress you. You know it below 30 degrees outside and your going to wear shorts, I just wanted to slap some sense into him, not that it would have worked. I get in TN you never know what kind of weather will be creeping up on you, but dress according to the weather, and dress your kids warmer than they need to be. But these will be the same parents that will complain when their child gets sick and they have to stay home with them from school, who's fault, your fault.

A lot of parents let their kids make the choices now and I think at times that's an injustice to them.

I thought it was just me. My youngest son 16yrs old wants to wear a zip up sweater as a coat or a north face jacket its so cold here in Chicago, I see them with these fuzzy hats & thin paper jackets and you'd think that's there lesson but NOPE! It's really sad. I saw a lady and her baby in Target and he had a blanket with no soxs on. Seriously! I was so upset but parents think they not cold so neither is their kid. I'm cold for them!!! I cringe with cold chills when I see this stuff and it's getting out of hand. So sad but too true...

    God bless,
