I hate winter

Friday, December 06, 2013

It is cold and we received a lot of snow yesterday and last night. I am ready for spring. This is no way to get out and walk. Also, I have found I am just not very steady on my prosthetic in the snow. I am trying to keep on sparking

It will get better and I hope the snow melts soon.

That's tough, the prosthetic challenge.....I hate the heat and I can relate to the weather influencing how we feel. emoticon emoticon

I walk in place at night in front of the television when it's cold and icy out. It's better than sitting on the sofa! And I run up and down the halls (or switch to dancing) during the commercial breaks.

Whatever you chose -- stay safe!

Try not to get discouraged. I know it must be difficult to move in the snow. Hope you can find something to help.

Wow I bet it is difficult with the prosthetic to get the traction you need. Is there any thing available to place on the bottom to help?

Have you thought about some kind of ice treads to put on your shoes to help with sliding? I agree that snow /slipperiness is a big deal in the winter. Just when you got your mojo going, snow comes! I like my ice treads but they aren't perfect. We haven't had much snow yet but I know it is coming. Second time down very frigid for us, and I am watching the weather in the country and it doesn't look good. I am sorry the snow is keeping you in. Remember to do your Wii or something inside. My back is spasming so waiting on it to calm down. It is always 'something'.
