Focus T25 Day 2!

Today was Speed 1.0 and I loved it! It was hard, but had several stretching breaks worked into it which felt absolutely wonderful! I love stretching, it feels so good. Because of all of the stretching I had to take less breaks than I did yesterday when I did the Cardio workout, which was nice. I still had to take a few water breaks, but yesterday I was stopping to catch my breath so that I could keep going, but today I was stopping for only a few seconds to grab some water, take a deep breath, and get back to it!

I had an awful time falling asleep last night. I tend to have that problem when I workout at night, I’ve noticed that I seem to have difficulty falling asleep after, even if a few hours pass. I was done working out and showering by 7pm, in bed by 10pm and read until about 11-11:30, but was still awake at 1:30am. I was tired, but restless and kept tossing and turning. It made getting up at 6 this morning very, very difficult, especially since I was already tired from not getting enough sleep on Sunday night. I hit snooze until 6:15, and then lay there trying not to fall back asleep, played on my phone for a couple of minutes, and then talked myself into getting my butt out of bed and starting the workout in the morning because even though I was sore and exhausted, I wouldn’t want to work out tonight because I have a dentist appointment at 7 and won’t be home until around 8:30-9, and will still need to eat a light dinner and will be exhausted and ready for bed.

So I got up, quickly got changed and ready, and just pushed play. And I had a wonderful workout. Even though my body felt heavy and sore from the Cardio workout I had done then night before, I felt like the tin man getting oiled up once I started the Speed 1.0 workout. I was exhausted, breathing hard, and had a difficult time cooling down once the workout was over. It felt great.

    Back to back workouts like that, especially on a bit of a sleep deficit are harder - but you are a healthy woman now ! Doesn't it feel good ? You beasted Insanity - you can Nail this one !
