Fact: I now weigh 165 lb. That's up significantly from 2 months ago, not down. I'm going the wrong way!

Facing it: I've had to, in all Spark honesty, re-set my weight ticker.

Dealing with it: Dig my heels into the slippery slope to stop this crazy downhill slide, slap myself up-side the head, and get back to Sparking in earnest.

It's so straightforward, what's the problem??????

Wasn't it St. Paul who wrote: "the spirit is willing but body is weak"?

    Ken, good luck. You've proven when you're active on SP you do well. You stay active and keep the weight down. You just need to make the decision and stick with a slow weight loss plan and a slow increase in activity plan.

    Ken I'm confident that you'll succeed in achieving your goals for yourself. Thanks for posting and I know all of us are pulling for you and will give you all the encouragement and virtual support as we travel with you. I too have managed to regain some weight in the last year but I too have recently renewed my goals and plan of working on achieving my goals for myself, just had to readjust the previous timeline.     I hear you loud and clear. It's happened to me more times than I care to remember and snuck up on me again this Fall. We just need to dig in and climb back up that slippery slope. Good luck!

    Facing it is good so congrats. For me, one truth I have found is that every one of my weight gains was accompanied by a "looking away." I would weigh myself regularly and then I would stop and when I finally did many pounds had crept on.

    Hey Ken,
    I'm in the same boat. I gained a lot during my misguided bulk phase. Been very happy with 6 months of weight loss since then. But in the last week, I've added almost 5 lbs of turkey! Current weight is 162.5
