Day 4. What motivates you to stay committed to a healthy lifestyle?

This is a problem.
If I had the motivation I could eat as I know I should. 1200 cals a day allows me to lose, but I just ate that pumpkin pie that was leftover, and if I didn't eat it, it would have to be thrown out, right? NO!!!!
I haven't exercised for weeks. It's too hard and I haven't had the time with Thanksgiving preparations, and now Christmas is coming.

I'll need to keep in mind more of the long term goals from yeterday's blog.....increased muscle strength so I can take care of myself longer healthier eating also, less weight to carry around can only help.

Someone recently said every day there's an exception not to eat healthy....birthdays, holidays, invitations to dinner or parties, etc. I have to decide which is more important, eating as I want because today is an exception or to eat healthy anyway for my well being.

    Just fit in 10 minutes of exercise for yourself. When I was starting out, I did it first thing in the morning at home. I did the Leslie Sansone walking dvds. They are kinda dorky, but they are a quick fun way to squeeze in some easy exercise. It got me in the habit of finding time to exercise, even if it was only 10 minutes. I usually did more once I got going, but not always.
