Weekend stuff

Sunday, December 01, 2013

Helped my mother in law move this weekend so did a lot of strength training as such but the steps were terrible. It was back and forth but thought it would have been better than it was. That is life.

My son got his new bedroom suite this weekend and we had to put it together and also tidy up the room of all the bleep bleep that was in there. OMG I didn't realise how much you can fit in such a small space lol. But his first night was fabulous in his new bed and he is so happy.

I think I have a sinus infection at the moment and feeling really yuk. Had a half an hour sleep to see if would help but it didn't. I think time will tell. I mean who gets a sinus infection at the start of summer sigh.

I am trying so hard not to eat wrong this weekend we went on our walk this morning. This is at the start of our little walk around the park and down in to the little bush walk. It is such a nice day out there.

About 10 days ago a friend gave us a Friendship cake welllllll actually it is called Herman the German Friendship Cake and it is a sour dough recipe that you have to look after for 10 days and on the 10th day you can make the cake but before making the cake you split the mixture up in to 4 parts and give 3 away and make the cake with the 4th.

I gave one friend hers today and then will give one to my mother in law and one to another friend. I can't wait to try the cake... how exciting.

That's pretty cool splitting that cake 4 ways. That picture is beautiful!

Praying your sinus infection has cleared up.
