It's not easy being green....

Sunday, November 24, 2013

It's not easy being green...and it's not easy staying on track and maintaining. I would say I stopped maintaining my goal weight (145) back in 2011. This was when our friend passed away unexpectedly. I have regained 15 to 20 and have been maintaining there. That's good news because in the past I would have gained it all back plus some. My mind is telling me "Well it was good while it lasted (the size 10 jeans). I have a hard time realizing I can get this extra weight back off pretty quickly if I would just set my mind to it and move forward.

I owe my success to the things I have learned on Sparkpeople and all my Sparkfriends. Thanks to all of you and thanks for reading my Blog.

Today is NEW and I have a plan.

I agree, Julie. All those years I lost weight, then promptly re-gained it were really wasted. How wonderful to have the Spark site to help us maintain. We will both get these last few lbs. off!!!

You absolutely MUST pat yourself on the back for having stopped the old "put it all back on plus some". That in itself is a step forward, a huge step. Even more so you have a plan......and that's where it all begins. Get the plan out and turn it into the reality you did once before.
