What a difference a week makes....

HI..the weather has taken a turn for cold!! and we have snow now too..winter is here now!!
It has been a busy week, I have finished painting the bedroom, did lots of cleaning and sorting..how does one accumulate so many clothes??? ugh....
The cowboy finished hauling the flax straw bales he bought from the neighbor so I was doing most of the chores while he was busy doing this the last 3 days. We also took an old bull and cow to market on Monday so I had another day of Christmas shopping (Saturday I went to a local Christmas craft fair which was lots of fun and visiting too)
My Christmas preps are coming along great..the cards are all done but for one address, I bought the nieces and nephews lotto scratch tickets instead of the Tim Horton cards after the wreck I had a Timmies
All this getting ready for Christmas early is because we are having early Christmas with my daughter and her family and a joint birthday party for my youngest granddaughter on Dec 14th....so I have the majority of their gifts..just need to wrap and get a few more things, mail my cards and do some baking and I'll be all set.
I'm puttering along with the house cleaning and then I can start decorating the house. I want to really cut down on the decorations this year, especially since we are having a quiet Christmas. The outside house lights are up and the inflatables are out. I asked the cowboy to bring up one of the old tractors to put lights on but he's been too busy..anytime is fine and I'll decorate it them
I haven't been able to do as much on the 5% challenge as I hoped...just so busy but the fitness points are still there...so much to do on the farm all the time...
Well..I'm just relaxing and watching a hockey game while cowboy sleeps on the couch. A cozy fire in the wood stove and the kitties are sleeping near us...almost time for bed..less than 10 minutes left of the game and Edmonton is ahead
Thanks for dropping by and keep on Sparkin'
