First Anniversary

Wednesday, November 20, 2013

Today I am celebrating my First Anniversary of maintaining my weight loss. Except for exceeding my weight by 2 lbs around Christmas last year, I have maintained or been below my goal weight for one whole year! This is the first time I have maintained a weight loss for a year and I am proud of this achievement.

I have continued to track my nutrition and fitness although now my fitness is confined to physical therapy for my total knee replacement. I go to physical therapy three times weekly, while riding my stationary bicycle and using my treadmill on the other days. I am also doing other strength exercises at home.

I just wanted to share my accomplishment!

It is an awesome example to see that a person can lose and maintain like you. I hope this is me next year! thanks for sharing! emoticon

That's a big accomplishment. And I am very happy that although you reached your goal, you continue being a very motivating force here on SP! Keep up the good work for they say it is almost as hard to maintain as to lose it in the first place.

Yeaaaaaa! Congratulations, I am so happy that you are maintaining your progress. I think maintaining is what I most fear out of this journey and you are doing so it's motivation for me. Thank you for sharing and happy healing replacing knees can be a doozy but you have great health so you'll recover in no time. Blessings. emoticon emoticon emoticon
