keeping motivated

I just need to stay motivated. Sometimes life just gets so busy, and I just wing my day. If I don't log my calories, then that means I went way over on my calories and I don't want to see it. Or I was just to lazy to track it. I could use all the accountabilty I can get. I do well when people randomly check on me. It's dangerous when left to my on demise. You know I can talk my self into eating anything and justifying it, and out of working out, saying I'm tired, or I deserve a break.

I am challenging my self to be more disciplined in all aspects of my life.....

I used to have so much self control, I don't know what has happened.....

    I have a journal I use when it gets difficult to follow a routine...There is always a new day to get right back on track.... emoticon emoticon

    It is hard. It's the mind game we've got to win. Change the old tape that plays in our heads. Like, yes, you should give yourself a break. A break from being overweight and unhealthy. Things like that? Have you looked around here on SP to find motivational phrases? Those are really helping me right now. Just being on Spark and filling my head with all things health and fitness. You go where you're thinking.

    I'm going to friend you. You can do this. Stick with it and you'll relearn that self control you had.

    Thats a great incentive! That's ok that you still go over your calories, look you already making progress by saying no to a few temptations. Those few, if you keep going, will add up and soon you will be able to turn down even more tempations. The holidays are always hard, I'm glad that your company has a program to help you get through the holidays emoticon emoticon

    my company has a healthy holidays program. i have to track my activity and weight each week so i i get that reminger every monday and riday. it is not sinking in well because i still over eat but i hace said no to a few temptations.
