I'm allergic to Pizza

Confession: last night's dinner was an epic fail. I made a decision after honestly looking at this - I am ALLERGIC to pizza! No, I really mean it. When I honestly look at my habits surrounding pizza, I've found that one bite causes me to binge. I think even one bite is too much to be in my life. Here is what I had for supper last night. FOUR peices of pizza. THREE bread sticks. TWO peices of carrot bread. An oreo mcflurry.

So, for me personally, I know that Pizza is a true trigger for me to binge. The last time I had pizza was the night of Abbie's birthday party and I did the exact same thing.

PIZZA - NOT FOR ME AT THIS POINT IN MY LIFE. IT MUST GO.

    Pizza is a trigger for me too... where with other meals I'll feel full, I can put away an entire pizza without coming up for air. I work around it now, and only make pizza (really, really healthy pizza!) the night before a long run, so I burn it all off the next morning.

    Pizza was my all time favorite food....I can identify with you here. I can't have gluten so that solved that....accept every once in a while a place will have gluten free and I really do enjoy it as a treat.
    But regular pizza won't do it for me anymore either.
    We can live without pizza!

    There could be a lot of truth in that. I read once that we actually crave things that we are allergic to.....not sure why though.

    You have my sympathy and understanding. It is very depressing to know that some of the FUN foods are not good for you. There is no One piece, there is no I WILL ONLY EAT THIS MUCH. There is if I take the first bite the fat/carb combination will take over my brain. Not Fair!! But at least you know and can make plans to not indulge. Or to really plan for the event and reduce calories the day before and the day after.
