You should probably listen to this song:

It makes me smile.

I'm not sure what's going on in my head right now, but I clicked on the new blog entry button, so I have to say something, right? It's like when you refuse to pull a U-Turn because there'll be a spot for you to turn back eventually... (says the girl who went all the way to Chelsea, QC while trying to visit Costco). Am I the only one like that? Who has to keep moving forward, even if it puts me behind in the long run?

I hope not.

I spent a good half of the day looking up dogs on Petfinder. Oh Em Gee, people: there is so much cute out there! There is one dog I desperately want, but there's no way he's making it to my deadline: I can't have a dog until after xmas. We're flying home (not driving -- but even driving wouldn't be ideal), and I'm not going to adopt a dog, only to leave him for the week with a sitter. Not. Going. To. Happen.

So end of December/early January I'll be finding a dog. I've been pouring over the rescues and petfinder, finding every large and giant breed dog that fits our criteria (good with cats, not incontinent -- we do live in a high-rise), and I have bookmarked SO MANY HAPPY FACES! *sigh*

It makes me sad to see all of these pets who need homes. Really sad. One of the cutest puppies at Poet's Vision (their mascot, Everest) melts my heart too. He may be deaf and blind in one eye, but he's so calm, and sweet (met him at the Pet Expo): I'd be tempted to take him if I didn't know he'd need a second dog around to act as a guide. WANT ALL THE DOGS!

Trying to decide if I want to bother with the gym today. I mean, I went at lunchtime on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as skated yesterday. That's on top of climbing Tuesday, swimming Wednesday, and ballet Thursday, so I think I can justify skipping it tonight: especially given the fact that I'm going climbing!

Tomorrow's going to be a lazy day: our PS4 (yes, the Boy totally pre-ordered one) should arrive today or tomorrow, so we'll be playing with that. I want to get some cleaning done (laundry too), but other than that, I'll probably have a super-lazy day.

Hope all of you have a fabulous weekend!
*ATTENTION CITIZENS! ATTENTION CITIZENS!* I have somehow managed to have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on my calendar for tomorrow. A miracle? Darned tootin'!

I totally understand about PetFinder. That website is dangerous. I am a cat person myself, and living in Austin (the dog capital of the world), it's doubly hard knowing the cats have a harder time finding homes.

PS4! So jealous. My mom asked me why there was a bunch of guys in tents outside of Best Buy last night! I was like it's the PS4!!!! Have fun with that! The PS is far better game choice wise than Xbox. I feel like all the good games are only on a PS, which might be a good thing. I don't need that many games.

    Have a good, fun, weekend!
