Weight watchers has been helpful, too. I use pointsPlus program, and put in about 30 - 35 miles a week walking/jogging. Most helpful hints:
Track food daily. It's just a fact of life. Make healthy choices, plan ahead and stay in calorie/points range. Screw up? track it and get right back on course. THE VERY NEXT MEAL.
Track exercise daily. Sign up for a race, get a workout buddy for accountability and have and follow a plan.
choose a few low cal meals, foods, and snacks, shop and stock up and PREPARE them ahead of time, so you are good to go all week with go to foods.
I eat a cup of grapes (or other fruit) and yogurt every afternoon to stave off copyroom junk food attacks.
