Week One Better Sleep Challenge Day Four

I think I am on day four of my Better Sleep Challenge blog - at this point, answering all of those questions seems like a broken record. I know why I am tired - I am not getting enough sleep. Fact - I have to get up during the night to let the puppy out to go potty. Fact - I get up at 4:30am so that I can do a quick 30 minute workout before heading to the office (if I do not fit exercise in at this time, it does not work). So.....I MUST get to bed sooner. I have been turning the lights out at 9:55 -- I WILL make that 9:30pm tonight and work towards 9:00 for most nights.

I CAN do this!!!

    Fortunately, puppyhood doesn't last forever. Combining a new puppy with a sleep challenge seems destined to leave you frustrated.

    I've had great success in moving my bedtime to closer to 9pm. It really works for me.

    Also working on my own private sleep challenge. Today, I started out with a little diet Pepsi, but no other caffeine all day and night. This is an exceptional feat for me. We'll see if I sleep later into the morning (my goal) with this change. Glenn
