4. What motivates you to stay committed to a healthy lifestyle?
Knowing that God lives in me and that my "reasonable service" is to take care of this body He has given me. Having had a number of health issues lately, I have had to add somethings to my diet. I realize through this experience, that mentally I have a much easier life when certain things are part of my diet (vitamin B supplement for one). When my mood is better, it is much easier to be the person I want to be on a consistent person. The things I eat really affect me and therefore, how I represent God. People who "do" the things necessary for health inspire me. On sp, reading about all the runners keeps me going. Also watching those who have really worked to lose a lot of weight also keeps me going.

    I find that we all help to keep each other well-rounded in our thinking. You remind me that it is important to remember that a healthy body will help me to better serve God. Another person reminds me that we need to stay well to be present for our families and help them as they need help. Yet another will remind me that I'm not in it alone - there are many other people who are working just as hard and harder than me to be healthy and that we can help each other along.
