November marks the start of "Phase 2" of my fitness program.
I am down more than 100 pounds. I am 50 pounds from my goal weight. I have developed the habit of walking every day. The coming cold weather and snow will be a challenge, but one that I am ready to meet. I will continue to work on consuming plenty of water, and trimming back on red meat, salt, and refined sugar. And I intend to focus on adding other exercises and activities to my fitness routine.
I started off this new push with a grand adventure. I went hiking with my Father and my youngest daughter, Ember-Lynne. We climbed Mt Cardigan in NH. Not a huge mountain, but you wouldn't know it from the views. It was a beautiful and inspiring day that would certainly not have been possible a year ago....
