My experiment with staying within my ranges for fat and protein worked: I'm down to 168.8 for the first time in years! Best thing was that friends have started noticing, and I got a compliment last night that I looked really good and had I lost weight. My wife said that my face lit up from across the room when I said, "Thank you! Yes I have!"
Of course, it has also helped that I've been increasing my walking and running mileage, and adding strength training to my routine. So excited!
