Low Carb problems

Saturday, November 02, 2013

I'm wanting to adapt my life to a low carb way of living but I'm not the one that buys the groceries but I have suggested going with a low carb way of life. They get whole wheat bread, and I'm thankful, don't get me wrong, but they get pasta and other things and no real veggies. I don't want to over step my bounds because they have taken me in and I don't currently have a job so buying my own groceries is not in the equation at this time. What can I do to start this new way of life?

I'm currently looking into finding a job. The car I use isn't working currently and my CDL portion of my license is qualified until I can get a DOT physical. I'm wanting to get back into driving I just need to fix my CDL, which might take a week or so. Then try to find a company. But i'm looking for work.

I will check out what you linked for sure. thank you!

No veggies is a problem. You probably won't be able to do a good low carb until you can get your own groceries. Or they decide to do LC. All you can do is make the best choices you can from what's available.

Is there any possibility of getting some income? I recommend you read Budgetmaw's blog, she challenges herself to eat low carb on a food stamp budget. This link is to one of them where she posts her shopping list. http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage_p
    She does amazing things.
