I have made it to Month 3!

Wow it is has been a little bit since my last blog post. I have been doing the best I can with what I have. My third month of Chalean Extreme started on Monday and oh boy I can tell I am in for some nice heavy duty workouts. After my first work out I was very sore but at the same time it felt good to be worked in a new way. That is part of what I like about Chalean Extreme, the workouts themselves change every 30 days!

I am so proud of myself to have actually made it to month 3. Normally after I finish month 2 I peter out or if I get sick I just let things go and give up. Not this time though! Even though I was sick for two weeks right in the middle of month two I just picked things right back up where I had left off instead of starting all over again which would have been plain discouraging.

My weight loss itself seems to be on hold but I am hoping that changing months will kick things back into gear. Though I am still losing inches. I lost 2 inches off my waist this last month and 1 inch off my hips. I have started a challenge against myself thanks to one of my spark teams of not eating after 8 pm. I am normally a late night grazer since it takes my sweet little boy a while before he is in bed for the night. But for the last two days I have been successful in not doing so. Now just 19 more days until it is a habit.

I am thinking after I finish Chalean Extreme that I will pick up P90X. I have done it before with some amazing results back after I had my daughter. I feel so much stronger already from doing CE and if I pass the fit test for P90X after I finish CE then I am going to do P90X. And if my timing is right that should be right after Thanksgiving and then I will continue it for 3 months. I will give myself one week off after I finish CE before starting P90X so my body can recover before diving in once again.
