Last night I was not feeling very positive, even though live is going well for me. I felt like I had lost my spark. I posted this on my update. Soon and throughout the night and earlier this morning, I received encouraging feedback from awesome friends: CYBERCITYSHELL, LOVINGAFRICA, FLYER99, and CATTUTT. Thank you dear friends with your kind words of support and encouragement. Part of my problem was that I was facing a migraine headache, literally head on, which also was causing difficulty with my sleep. I would sleep one or two hours and wake up to intense pain.

Today I found out that my cousin Karen's oldest daughter Evan's field hockey team took 1st place for the state of Colorado this year. Even though Evan had a game one day while I was visiting Denver CO last week, she, her Dad, my cousin Beth and Duffy (their pup) went for a three mile hike through a beautiful State Park in CO.

So now that my migraine is over and I finally got the benefit of six hours of uninterrupted sleep I feel totally SPARKED to complete a hard core workout soon after I finish my third load of laundry for the day!

I'm sorry you were down with a migraine. I recently nearly lost my Spark as well. It's good supportive friends here that bring strength.

That's awesome Steven. I knew you would get back on the Spark Bike and roll on further. I often get down but I meditate, pray, read my Bible, think of all the things I humbly have and my great friends, especially on SparkPeople. My down time may last a day or two but then I tend to get back to it.

I am meeting with a Registered Dietician tomorrow. I made the appointment a week or so ago. It's 90 minutes and we are going to go over everything to get me on the right track. I think I will make a blog after the meeting and list any tips she may give me. I'm looking forward to it. I got my annual flu shot last night so I'm good to go for that. I've been getting them for years.

Take care. I'm happy you're feeling better. Have a blessed day, my friend.

I'm glad you are feeling better Steven. My daughter Samantha has got migraines since she was a little kid. And she would be in intense pain and not allow me to give her any medication for them. Luckily now she is older she does take medication when she gets one-most of the time. When she doesn't take meds for it, it often ends in her vomiting.
You have a sporty family Steven, that is great emoticon
Thanks for the mention in your blog emoticon I hope you enjoy your workout and that you enjoy the rest of your day emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
