Something to brag about

Monday, October 28, 2013

This weekend I ate some things I was not so proud of so for me to get back on track usually takes longer then it should. I woke up this morning with a promise to stick with healthy choices and take it one meal at a time. I get in to work and of course some one brings in not one but two containers full of cupcakes. First I had my peep talk "You have had one before" And then I made a promise not to touch it. If I get hungry I had a banana and a apple. I am proud to say I DID IT!!! No cupcakes for lisa. Oh did I mention they put them on the cubicle right across from my desk. I swear sometimes people make it hard on purpose. One co-worker came to get one and said she was only going to eat the frosting did I want the cake so she would not have to throw it out emoticon emoticon . I politely said No Thank you because If I start I know me I won't stop with one.

Oh my gosh!! I hate your co-worker. LOL. Is she like 5 years old? Eating the icing and not the cupcake? How childish!! Good for you for passing on them!

emoticon I find it easier to avoid sweets altogether than to stop with one. Great job!

Sometimes when I am tempted by junk food like that, I just look at the label and read the long list of nasty ingredients with chemicals. That often makes me think I don't really want that food after all! emoticon
