October is almost over

Well one week to go and I have stayed focused for the most part on ME. I have managed to take off some weight this month and get in more exercise then time on the couch. Planning next months challenge with my sister and friend in advance to commit to 3 days of strength training. We all decided to focus on a issue we struggle with and stick with it for 30 days and check in with each other daily to report out what we did. September was 100 situps or more a day. I never missed one day emoticon October was to hold a plank as long as possible. Not so happy with this challenge I can hold for 1 min at the most emoticon .
Bring it November I am ready emoticon

    Great job for October! To hold a plank for a minute doesn't sound very long but after my body starts shaking at about 30 seconds. It takes forever(or so it seems) to get to that minute.

    Sounds like you are doing well with your goals. I was doing so good last year and then my oldest son became ill the first of the summer - and there went all my resolve. But he is doing better and our goal is to walk everyday - outside - no matter the weather. But, we certainly do have to prod each other often!!

    It is good to have someone to work on goals together - I certainly do enjoy having Greg to keep me moving. And you are so fortunate to have a sister and friend near that you can "struggle" with!

    Good for you, Lisa. Just keep moving each day.
