Slogging forward

I got out for a run this afternoon, and even though the weather was perfect I had to fight to finish 1.5 miles. It felt like I was in slow motion. I was gasping for breath and my legs felt like lead. I guess I need to get out more than once every two weeks. Ooops! So, I will get out there again on Wednesday, and try for Friday as well. I have been walking more, but that is NOT the same thing.

Speaking of walking... I walked over 10 miles today in addition to the run, did a set of pushups, and a little bit of yoga. Cooper walked most of those miles with me. He is such a calm dog when he gets at least one long walk a day. Jack Russell's are known for being hyper, but my buddy definitely isn't... at least most of the time he isn't! LOL emoticon

Change of plans on the juice fast. I was given a 6 pack of Slimfast shakes, so I thought I would go with those for breakfasts this week. I know it is not the same thing, but it is much simpler. I am craving raspberries tonight, but what I have are blueberries, so I will have to wait on the raspberries. I ate about 600-700 calories less than usual today, and I am not starving. Maybe that means I have been eating too much? Maybe I will lose a little weight this week? I would like to get back down to my target weight. My jeans still fit, but I noticed one pair is a little snug.
