Daddy, I'm in love with a thug... By Knight Owl

Sunday, October 20, 2013

If you ever get the chance to listen to this RAP song, it's good. It is an "Oldie" for me... Something I heard all the time when I was in High School.

It's been almost 2 months since I've last been on here and posted anything. A lot has happened...

1. My dad is currently in the hospital. On his birthday (16 Oct 2013 - 72yrs old), he had a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot) went through his lung. He will remain in the hospital for the rest of this week before being moved to a rehab hospital for the next 5 months or so to recover and make sure the clot doesn't make it's way to his heart. We were lucky the dogs alerted my sis and I at 4:30a! (My dad's attack happened at 5a.) The hospital said we were lucky to be awake and to have caught this extremely early for if he was alone, it would have killed him in his sleep... (Freaked me out, cause that is how my husband passed with his heart attack... )

2. I still have a Sweetie... For now. We went through a bad miscarriage. I am fine, but still recovering. He's becoming needy to the point its unreal. I'm trying to ween him off of me. I love him, but not in love with him...

3. I'm working 2 jobs now. I still am taking 15 credit hours of classes. I have attended several Deaf Socials... PLus, I am helping several people out with homework and assignments.

4. I confessed my love to a long time friend... (He was one of the friends of my 2nd Husband.) He drops the ball on me and tells me, his ex-gf and him are expecting... He told me he never wanted to have anymore kids than the 2 he already had. I told him, I will remain his friend but I will not burden him anymore. Once things settle down for both of us, I will ask him again if he would like to try...

5. I'm back in church. I didn't make it to Sunday School... I went to service though. Today was about H.O.P.E. - Holding On, Praying Expectantly.

6. Getting back into my life style change. I gained back all weight I lost... Now, I am more determined to get rid of it ASAP!!! (Ya, I had a bit of the sweet tooth and was making Shipley's Doughnuts a habit there for a while.)

7. Taking things as they come into my life and handling them as I need to...

Once you get it all out there in the open, it is so much easier to deal with each emotion/situation as it comes up.

I'm so sorry to hear about your father's health, I'll be praying that everything turns out well- I'm so glad you were able to take action!

Take one day at a time, keep faith, and know that there is nothing that you can't get through.
