Day 23 Intermittent Fasting (IF) Journal

entry for Fri., Oct 18, 2013:

Stopped eating at 6 PM yesterday and had my 1st meal at 10 AM, a 16-hr IF. I ate 2372 calories and burned 445 calories exercising: 15 min 0.8 mi walk (easy effort) + 55 min elliptical (hard effort.) Today was an ok day, a friend visiting from New Zealand dropped by, so it was less productive than some days, but how good to see an old friend! I can not believe he has been in NZ for 6 yrs already. He has come back here a few times and we would like to go out there. I was lobbying for making the trip this year because our son could go for 10% fare as a "lap child." Next year and after we are looking at an extra $1700-2200 for his economy ticket. Husband did not want to go that far with him, so we kept it to 8-hrs flying to Anchorage from Chicago each way. Son traveled like a pro. He is like mom like that. Dad was the only one crying on the flight!
